The San Diego Chapter held our annual Summer Social at the 94th Aero Squadron which adjoins Montgomery Airport in San Diego.  The patio offered a great view of Montgomery Field and the late afternoon start provided excellent weather. The food and service provided by the venue were excellent and most stayed

Postponed until early 2026 Compatriot Grave Marking is conducted in a similar manner to last year’s highly successful Patriot Grave Marking ceremonies except we are honoring former members. Members of our Color Guard marched in the La Mesa Flag Day Parade on Saturday, June 14th.  There was a large turnout of participants and spectators with near perfect parade weather.  The Parade moved through downtown La Mesa along La Mesa Blvd. 

Recently our JROTC Award leader, Gary Newton, attended the annual awards presentation at Mira Mesa High School where he presented cadet Julian Tang with his Awards (medal, certificate , $1000 check. and America 250 coin).  There were 300 people at the AFJROTC unit awards banquet where Julian was cheered by
