Donate to SAR San Diego

Your contributions support  critical needs in the San Diego Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution to support our ongoing programs.  Funds can be designated for a specific use, these are:

  • Color Guard donations are used to purchase additional “loaner” uniforms, flags and poles as well as musket’s and supplies related to maintaining our equipment.
  • Medals donations are used to purchase medals and awards for our very active Youth Programs including Sea Cadet, Eagle Scouts and JROTC as well as others.
  • America250 donations are used to help fund our America 250 events that will run through 2033.
  • Grave Marking donations are needed for our Patriot Grave Marking plaques as well as purchasing markers for the Compatriot Grave Marking project.
  • Pendleton Fund donations are accumulated and invested and the returns will be used as a perpetual Youth Programs funding source.  This is a long term program and we do not expect any returns for a few years.
  • General Fund donations are non-specific and can be used as our Board deems necessary.  They are most often used to help offset the cost of insurance and other operational expenses.

Donations may be made directly to our Chapter by check or credit/debit card.  You will receive a confirmation email and a receipt with our tax and charitable trust information will be mailed to you.

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  Please check with your tax advisor regarding deductibility.

If you have any questions or encounter any issue please contact our Treasurer at treasurer@sarsandiego.org.

Thank you for your support!

Payment *Select PayPal, Zelle (treasurer@sarsandiego.org) or you may send us a check. We will mail you a reciept along with our Tax ID for your records after we receive the payment.
