Sons of the American Revolution
San Diego Chapter, California Society - est. July 4, 1894
There will be a “re-dedication” ceremony for the new SAR/DAR plaque at San Diego’s Mission de Alcalá in Mission Valley. The replacement plaque has been installed in a more secure area of the Mission after the original 1932 plaque was stolen. The funding for the replacement was shared between our Chapter and the San Diego DAR Chapter. Our Color Guard will present the Colors and the program has been jointly organized by SDDAR, SDSAR and the Mission staff. The general public is invited to this event.
The program will begin shortly after the morning Mass and we expect to start around 9:00am.
