The 4th of July Parade in Coronado is a sight to behold. Coronado has to be one of the most patriotic cities in America and this annual parade is a centerpiece for the communities patriotic displays. Passing along the streets in the housing areas you will find the distinctive homes draped in flags and all manner of decorations.
Our Color Guard will march in this spectacular parade and we invite our members to participate either as a spectator or riding in one of the vehicles we will have as part of our entry. Plan ahead and contact our Color Guard Commander to see if there are any “loaner” uniforms that you can use. Email colorguard@sarsandiego.org for more information.
We are checking with the organizers about having musket team members marching as well and performing a three volley salute. Check back in May to see if this will happen.
Arrive early as parking will become almost non-existent by mid-morning.
