Sunday, May 26- Balboa Park Booth

Chapter members hosted an information booth in front of the House of the USA in Balboa Park.  They spent the day greeting a steady stream of visitors and talk with them about the American Revolution and our Chapter.  Attending the booth were Duncan and Carolyn Campbell and Alan Winters.

Saturday, May 25- Flag Placement

Thank you to those that attended and participated in this endeavor at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, Jack-in-the-Box Corporate members and the Temecula CAR.  This year there was a flag planted at every tombstone in the cemetery thanks to a large turnout of volunteers.  Ft. Rosecrans is one of the largest national cemeteries with over 120,000 interred.

Flag Placement Participants: (left to right)- Jennifer Marlow, Erica Eland, Nancy Caccese (Jack-in-the-Box/Del Taco Corporate office), Kirk Rudolf, Jay Rudolf, Cathryn Rudolf, Evelynn Rudolf, Luke Rudolf, Steven Rudolf (of Temecula CAR), Melissa White, Jennifer Charles, Felicity Charles, Ryan Charles, Carolyn and Duncan Campbell.

Our Chapter along with Temecula CAR members and Jack-in-the-Box Corporate personnel will plant 500 flags at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery on Saturday, May 25.  The following day (May 26) we will host an information booth in Balboa Park in front of the House of USA and support their Memorial Day program.  On Memorial Day (May 27) our musket team will participate in the annual remembrance program at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery.
