SAR and DAR members present at the September meeting.
We changed our meeting location this year to the Mormon Battalion Historic Site & Museum in Old Town. While the idea of meeting in Balboa Park always has some appeal we have found that we cannot seem to schedule around Park road closures for special event which has made parking nearly impossible.
This year our program featured a skit created by Nora Bowman and played by DAR and SAR members. We also had a speaker from SDSU who also took questions on his take on U.S. history. We inducted Richard Hansing as a member of our Chapter and SAR.
Our final meeting of 2025 will be on November 15th at noon and will be at the Linda Vista American Legion at 7815 Armour St. in San Diego.
