We had two good days in Balboa Park where we had displays at the House of USA and the House of Spain. As usual we had constant requests to pose with visitors for photos and answered lots of questions. At the House of Spain we had a steady flow of park visitors stop by to learn about the critical role Spain played in our fight for independence. At the outdoor stage our color guard presented the colors to open the afternoon program. Our Color Guard Commander gave a presentation on the daily life of a private in the Continental Army.

Jesus Benayas, President of the House of Spain, made a presentation on the the role of Spain in our fight for independence.

Duncan Campbell and his “recruit” demonstrate musket handling and the life of a private in the war.

Much of our time is the park is taken by visitors wanting photos with our members.
