ROTC & JROTC Award Presentations

June 6, 2023

April through June are busy months for our Chapter as we get frequent requests for our members to present ROTC and JROTC Awards at local schools.    If you are interested in being a “presenter” on behalf of our Chapter, contact our Sargent-at-Arms, Gary Newton.  Here is a gallery of photos from these presentations.

There were some 300 people in at the Scripps Ranch High School AFJROTC Banquet on May 25th. Compatriot Gary Newton presented Harini Akurathi with the CASSAR JROTC award, including the $1000 check. She was thrilled. The audience gave her an ovation. Compatriot Newton took the opportunity to speak about the SAR JROTC Outstanding Cadet Program, It was a great evening with guests reporting that Harini’s award was the “hit” of the banquet.
