Our Color Guard had a busy Memorial Day weekend supporting the annual events at
Balboa Park on Sunday and Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery on Monday.
Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery

An amazing and moving Memorial Day Ceremony at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego. Our Sons American Revolution San Diego Color Guard participated by firing a three volley salute with our black powder muskets after the Marines did their three volley salute with their M16A4 service rifles.
We were honored to fold the flags that had been flown over the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery to be presented to the Gold Star families in attendance.
Following the ceremony, as always there were many people who wanted to have their photos taken with our members.
Our Facebook page has many more photos.

In attendance were (left to right); Michael Hirman, Rob Welch, Carolyn and Duncan Campbell, Jim McAdory and Philip Hirman. Gary and Judy Newton were also present at the House of USA.
