Our past President and current Membership VP and Chaplin, Michael Hirman, was busy in March presenting SAR Flag Certificates to local firms in Alpine. On the left is the Apline Tobacco store and the right is the Alpine branch of the California Bank & Trust.
The SAR Flag Certificate, authorized in 1987, is presented to individuals, companies and government agencies that fly the United States flag for patriotic purposes only. It can be presented by a chapter, state or the National Society.
