Time Remaining to Avoid Reinstatement Charges.
Our annual Membership Renewal period is now open. We hope that you will renew your membership in the Sons of the American Revolution and the San Diego Chapter. We anticipate 2026 to be a very active year for our Chapter. We have renewed our focus on Youth and Teacher Programs and we have an exciting slate of venues and speakers for the coming year. DUES MUST BE PAID BY DECEMBER 1st.
Along with your 2026 dues payment, please consider donating to offset the cost of Color Guard equipment and the costs associated with presenting SAR awards and medals to ROTC, JROTC, Heroism, and other SAR achievements.
2026 Dues are $95, Below is a list of the donation options for this year.
- Color Guard is used to maintain our flags, muskets and display equipment as well as purchase “loaner” uniforms for new Color Guard members. It can also be applied to our insurance for our musket team which has become a major expense.
- Grave Marking Fund in addition to the 2024 Patriot Grave Marking ceremonies, we plan to erect a medal plaque at the Presidio to honor the Patriots buried in the general area. We also plan to begin marking the graves of our late Compatriots in early 2025 and this fund will help cover the costs of the required markers.
- Medals and Awards for not only our Chapter members and non-members but also for our extensive JROTC, Sea Cadet and Eagle Scout awards. Our annual outlay for this typically runs $1,500 or more per year.
- The Pendlenton Fund is a long term investment program where we will accumulate donations until we have reached a balance that can be invested in a safe program such as CD’s. The earnings from those investments will be used to fund our annual Youth programs and hopefully someday be sufficient to cover all of those costs (which exceeds our annual dues income when fully utilized).
- The America250 fund is used to cover our cost for programs and events related to the America 250 celebrations through 2033. Costs that are encounters include facilities rental, city permits and supplies. They can be quite substantial for some events.
- General Fund donations are non specific and can be used as the Board deems necessary.
You may pay your dues and donations with a single credit/debit card transaction, by check or with a Zelle transfer via your Bank. Note a change for 2025: a $3 transaction fee will be charged for credit/debit card will be added to the total when Pay by Card Selected. Please complete the form below.
